We welcome you as a new member of our school community

We provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all our students, and deliver outstanding educational outcomes and experiences. Due to growing enrolments, our school prioritises students living in the designated school zone. Enrolment can be guaranteed to those students who meet any of the following criteria:

  • School zoning rights: Students living in the enrolment zone as defined by the Department for Education (DfE). Proof of residence must be provided as determined by DfE guidelines. Click here to view the Golden Grove High School zone map.

  • Sibling Rights: Students who have a sibling currently attending Golden Grove High School.

Enrolment in Year 7 to 12, 2024-25

To register your interest for enrolment in year 7 to 12 in 2024-25, please click on the below link and complete the online registration of interest form.

Registration of interest for enrolment at GGHS

Along with the submission of the above registration form, please email a scanned copy of all of the required documentation listed below via email with 'ENROLMENT REGISTRATION - <CHILD'S NAME - YEAR LEVEL>' in the subject line.

  • A copy of your child's birth certificate
  • A letter outlining your reasons for requesting enrolment
  • A copy of your child's most recent school report
  • A copy of a current council rates notice in your name OR a signed copy of your Lease Agreement in your name
  • A current gas or electricity bill in your name
  • Copies of relevant supporting documents e.g. court orders / visa documentation / specialist reports, etc.

Year 6 to 7 Transition in 2025

The year 6 to 7 state-wide enrolment transition process is carried out by the Department for Education and facilitated via government primary schools when your child is in year 6.

If your child is attending a government primary school, the process to select your child’s preferred high school will begin in term 1 of year 6. If your child attends a non-government primary school please contact us during term 1 to discuss your enrolment.

Allocation for the year 6 to 7 transition process is completed by the Department for Education and families are notified of the outcome by the allocated high school in term 3.

Students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander can apply to attend the SA government high school of their choice via the ‘Enter for Success’ program.

Year 7 Special Entry Dance

Golden Grove High School has a year 7 Special Entry Dance program. Enrolments are allocated via an application, interview and audition process. Please click here to download the year 7 2025 application form. 

There are no special dance genres required to audition for the program. For more information regarding the audition and enrolment process into the GGHS Special Entry Dance program, please phone (08) 8282 6400 and you will be connected with a member of our Dance faculty.

Golden Grove High School Discovery Centre

Students who are attending a primary school special class, other special option setting or who have an intellectual disability, and have been supported in a mainstream primary school, are eligible to apply for consideration for placement in the Golden Grove High School Discovery Centre.

Enrolment enquiries and applications cannot be made directly via Golden Grove High school, but must occur through the Regional Education Office Placement Panel processes. For more information, please phone the Para Hills Education Office on 08 8314 4000.
