We welcome and value our international connections through:
Our school values the rich educational opportunities and global awareness that our international program provides for students. International high school students can enrol for periods ranging from 5 weeks to 6 years.
International Education Services carefully match students with homestay families according to the school the student will be attending, in addition to your family's preferences and the student's individual needs.
We have a strong tradition of welcoming international students for short study tours through to long term education programs.
Our school has been enriched by our visiting students who engage not only with our school but also have an opportunity to visit many of our cultural and tourist venues.
Alongside English classes we offer a rich and exciting program including Science, Mathematics, Dance/Art or Drama, Technical Studies, Cooking and Physical Education.
While studying with us students will stay with a local caring family who provide homestay accommodation. Study Abroad homestay accommodation is arranged for South Australian Government Schools through the International Education Services office at the Department for Education and is supported by the school.

To develop an understanding of global citizenship, we encourage our students to be globally connected, informed and active by giving them opportunities to experience social, cultural and religious diversity.
An overseas learning experience supports students to connect with peers in other countries so they experience new cultures and develop a new understanding of their place in the world.
Golden Grove High School currently offers a Japanese Study Tour and a European Study Tour. The European Study tour will take off in November 2024, and our next Japanese Study Tour will commence in 2025.
