Supporting our students into a university pathway
Throughout Australia, there are 42 universities and in South Australia we have 3 publicly funded universities (UniSA, Flinders University and University of Adelaide), along with several private universities.
When choosing a university, there are several concepts we need to consider:
- The course you would like to study and the universities that offer that course.
- The location of the campus.
- The requirements of that course (any prerequisites required - the courses in year 12 you must have completed).
- The mode - is it all face to face or can you study online.
Check all other details including:
- Check SATAC guide for details.
- Closing dates for applications for specialty courses.
- Other entry conditions (including folios for Arts etc).
- Can the course be deferred.

- Use the course select section using key words to identify the course, the universities and entry conditions for that course.

Acknowledgement of Country
Golden Grove High School acknowledges the Kaurna people who are the traditional owners of the land we learn on. We pay our respects to their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.
We pay our respects to Kaurna Elders, past, present and emerging and we acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting from areas around Australia.
